Privacy Policy for Fotli Cleaner

1. Introduction

Fotli Cleaner (“the App”) helps you review and clean up unwanted photos and videos. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App and how you can manage your privacy choices.

No account registration or login is required to use Fotli Cleaner.

2. Information Collection and Advertising

Fotli Cleaner does not collect personal information through the App. You do not need to provide your name, email address, phone number, or other contact details to use its cleanup features.

The current version does not display advertisements.

If you choose to contact us by email, we receive the information you voluntarily provide, as explained in Section 5.

3. Photo Library Access

Fotli Cleaner requests permission to access your photo library to identify duplicate and similar photos, similar videos, Live Photos, screenshots, and large videos, and to display cleanup suggestions.

The App uses accessible media and related information, such as file sizes and media types, to scan, group, preview, and help you delete selected items. It also reads device storage information to display used and total storage.

You can grant full or limited photo library access. With limited access, the App only reviews the photos and videos you allow.

You can change or revoke this permission in iOS Settings at any time. Restricting or revoking access may limit or prevent cleanup features.

4. Deleting Photos and Videos

You choose which photos and videos to delete. After you confirm deletion through iOS, the selected items are moved to Recently Deleted in the Photos app.

Fotli Cleaner cannot access or empty Recently Deleted. To permanently delete these items and free up storage, you must do so yourself in the Photos app. Available storage may not update immediately.

If iCloud Photos is enabled, deletions may sync to your other devices. Revoking Fotli Cleaner’s photo access does not restore previously deleted items.

5. Support Communications and Privacy Requests

If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use this information to respond to your inquiry and resolve your request. These communications are processed through our email service provider.

We retain support correspondence only for as long as reasonably necessary to handle your request or meet applicable legal obligations. We do not use support correspondence for advertising.

Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information contained in your correspondence. You may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, obtain a portable copy of your information, or complain to a relevant data protection authority.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App or its information practices. Updates will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Where required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
